🎬 Drive-In Season Is Back + Earth Day Festivities Ahead!
Movies under the stars, music in the park, and family fun all weekend long — here’s what’s happenin’ in FoCo.
🎉 Drive-In Dreams & Earth Day Scenes: Your Weekend in Fort Collins

Grab the snacks, cue the music, and charge the camera — Fort Collins is fully activated this weekend. The beloved Holiday Twin Drive-In opens its gates for another season of starry-night cinema (pack extra blankets, trust us), and Civic Center Park transforms into a hub of sustainability, music, and community for the 15th Annual Earth Day Fort Collins. Add in local food trucks, DJs, family fun, and FoCoMX bands, and you’ve got yourself a whole weekend of choice city goodness. Let’s dive in.👇

🌍 Celebrate Earth Day at Civic Center Park
Fort Collins knows how to throw a party—and Earth Day is no exception.
This Saturday, Civic Center Park (yep, that lovely 2.3-acre spot downtown) transforms into a community-wide call to action. It’s the 15th Annual Earth Day Fort Collins, and this year’s theme—“Our Power. Our Planet.”—is more than a slogan. It’s a full-day celebration of creativity, climate action, and community vibes.
Here’s what’s goin’ down:
🎶 Live Music & FoCoMX Crossover – Local favorites like Latin Soul, Carlos Barata, and Peaches Embry & the Rhythm Train will take the stage throughout the day.
🧘 Start With a Stretch – Kick off the morning with Earth Day Yoga at 10 AM, courtesy of Old Town Yoga.
🎨 Youth Art & Writing Contest Winners – The next generation of Earth defenders will showcase their vision for a better planet—on stage.
🌱 Eco Booths, Kid Activities & Wildfire Education – From petting rescue animals to spinning the Fire Wheel (yes, it’s a thing), families can get hands-on while learning about our environment.
🍽️ Food Trucks & Beer Garden – Waffle Lab, Lulu’s Taters, and a beer garden? That’s called balanced sustainability.
🎁 Bring a Non-Perishable Food Donation – Help stock the Larimer County Food Bank while you’re at it.
The event runs 11 AM–5 PM, rain, snow, or shine—because Mother Earth doesn’t take rainchecks. Admission is totally free, so come curious, bring a reusable water bottle, and maybe even rock some recycled fashion. Bonus points if you show up on a bike or foot.
